La ciudad suiza de Ginebra es sede de la duod茅cima sesi贸n del Comit茅 Permanente de Derecho de Autor y Derechos Conexos de la Organizaci贸n Mundial de la Propiedad Intelectual - OMPI, a celebrarse del 17 al 19 de noviembre de 2004. Durante el evento se debatir谩 la conveniencia de adoptar un tratado que proteja de manera m谩s amplia a los organismos de radiodifusi贸n y de difusi贸n por cable. Una veintena de organizaciones de la sociedad civil, entre las que se encuentra CPSR-Per煤, asisten a la referida reuni贸n, incluyendo a Consumer Project on Technology - CPTech, Electronic Frontier Foundation - EFF, IP Justice, Union for the Public Domain, European Digital Rights - EDRi, - The European Consumers' Organisation - BEUC, The Civil Society Coalition and The International Federation of Library Associations.
